Jo Bean

Jo Bean's remarkable beads, made on the small Island of Saba, trace their origin three thousand years to the middle east where the first objects made entirely of glass-flame formed beads.

Jo Bean individually flame works each bead from a dazzling array of Venetian glass. The glass is melted at temperatures of over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. After the beads are kiln annealed. They are crafted with silver and gold into elegant and Whimsical jewelry. Years of study and practice are reflected in these brilliant and original creations. Jo Bean Glass can be viewed in galleries throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
