The Supervisory Board of Directors of AMFO visited the island of Saba on Wednesday and held discussions with Saba's Lt. Governor Mr. Sydney Sorton at the Government Administration Building.

the purpose of the visit to the island was to introduce the supervisory board of directors which is being headed by Sybilla Dekker as chairman of the supervisory Board of directors and Marva Richardson as the treasurer of the board and the General Director of the AMFO Stanley Betrian. Also traveling along with the supervisory board were Raquel Weisz and Roxanne de Leeuw as policy assistants and Hendrickje Stoffels as Senior Project Assistant.

The visit was also for them to inform the Lt. Governor of the functioning of AMFO and how the funding agency can assist the many NGO's on the island with funding for their projects.

AMFO has supported many projects on the island in the past and will continue to support many more projects once the projects is submitted and meets the requirements of the funding agency. Lt. Governor Sorton said that the meeting with the delegation was very informative and he would like to encourage all NGO's on the island to apply for funding to the funding agency in order for them to carry out their community projects on the island.
