Queen birthday celebrations will be held on Friday, April 25th 2008 this was
announced on April 9th 2008 by the Executive Council of Saba. the Executive council
has decided to celebrate this event with a thanksgiving ecumenical service which
will be held on Friday, April 25th at 6.00 p.m. at the Christ Church (Anglican) in
The Bottom.
Following the church service a public reception will be held in Her Majesty's Honor
at the residence of the Lt. Governor of Saba from 7.30 p.m. until 9.30 p.m. The
general public is hereby cordially invited to come out and attend this event in big
numbers and let everyone together celebrate Her Majesty Queen Beatrix Birthday. The
public invitation to the event was signed by the Lt. Governor of Saba Mr. Sydney
Sorton.
The celebration will be held on April 25th and April 30th will be an official
holiday in Honor of Her Majesty.
