At the Rainforest Restaurant you will be pleasantly surprised by their great ambience and excellent food, in fact guests have repeatedly told them that they serve the best food on the island.
With an emphasis of being one with nature the menu changes daily depending on what can be gotten fresh from their gardens and the sea. Their menu always includes a choice of fresh salads and favorites such as Red-Curry-Coconut Shrimp, Mahi-Mahi (Caribbean fish) with a Creole sauce, or the largest Rib-eye steak on the island, but don't be discourage to dine there, because vegetarian dishes are also available; conclude your dinner with some homemade ice-cream (mango, guava, papaya or wild-orange depending on season) and freshly baked Apple Pie.
Dining in candlelight in the Rainforest Restaurant will give you a sense of what dining on Saba is all about!

Located in the village of Windwardside, Saba's Treasure is aptly named as its built around the island's rich and colourful past, nautical charts adorn the walls, antique fishing buoys, historical photographs and documents are everywhere you care to look.
Saba T's (as locals affectionately call it) is the combined brain child of Saban historian Will Johnson and his son Chris (presently island commissioner), and was designed by local artist Robbie Lynn. Opening in 2004 it was an instant "smash" with locals and students alike (Saba is home to the Saba School of Medicine) supplying the best stone fired pizza in the islands as well as delivering a varied menu including fresh fish from the island's small but fearless fishing fleet.
2008 saw the return of Saba's most talked about son Greg Johnson, the mastermind behind one of the island's most popular restaurants "The Brigadoon". Presently working his magic on Saba's Treasure he's already putting his mark on the place, completely renovating and expanding the kitchen with a second pizza oven (yes the island demanded it!) and moving and rebuilding a "Rock Oven" (that was originally situated Behind-The Ridge) that has surely seen many pig roasts and parties during its long lifetime...
Plans for a multi-screen satellite system are in the works, so you can enjoy a "sports bar" atmosphere for the first time on the island. Saba T's also provides a Take-away and delivery service that caters to the entire island!
So if you're in Windwardside and you want great food, company or entertainment drop in and say hello to the crew!

One of Saba's oldest and most traditional places now offers the program: "Everyday is a special day at Scout's Place". Our main goal is to offer you the most fresh and local food as possible so that you can get the great taste of the Caribbean while staying on Saba.
Reasonable prices and a great local bar, where you can meet other divers and locals for a chat and a beer or two round up the picture. The bar offers Cocktails and the charm of a local place. Saba's Fisherman and other locals enjoy their evenings in a nice atmosphere at our bar and having a chat about goats, the weather or their last big catch. There is always a story about Saba and its history...........and our divers add some underwater stories about their latest Shark or Manta encounter.
Two beautiful terraces with a gorgous ocean and village view make your breakfast, lunch or dinner at Scout's Place an unforgettable experience. Scout's Place is always open Monday-Sunday from 7.30am - 11.00pm. Master & Visa Card accepted.
In October 2009 Scout's teamed up with award winning chef Cameron Mackie from Canada who has spent the last 10 years cooking on a small Cayman island. His new mouth watering menu, home made desserts and daily specials are some of the best dishes Saba has to offer. Delicious Saba Lobster, local goat stew and Jerk spiced chicken reflect the true beauty of Caribbean cooking. Most of his food Macks prepares on a new outdoor grill which gives the food its unique taste and flavor. He is using as much local ingredients as he can get on Saba so it is always fresh and unique. Come and try his outstanding cooking 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Swinging Doors is definitely the place where everybody knows your name. It anchors the corner in Windwardside opposite the Big Rock Market.
Prop. and bartender Eddie Hassell has the neighborhood watering hole recipe down pat: a well-stocked inventory, simple fare (hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, etc.), and a wealth of unsolicited opinions-he renamed his "potato offering" Freedom fries after recent disappointments over non-support from European ally. Eddie is a naturalized American citizen and served in the US merchant marine for 13 years. Ask the man for a story and you a likely to get a book.
Speaking of pat - and we were, weren't we? - Eddie's wife Pat does her best to keep the Wild West flavor of the Swinging Doors reigned in: the atmosphere is definitely mellow for families with children. The atmosphere is fun, the chairs comfortable, and the conversation lively.
Eddie's specialties are BBQ ribs and chicken dinners on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Saturday noon. Quality is consistently excellent, ingredients rigorously fresh.
A new offering is char-your-own steak night on Sundays, although Eddie is glad to do the honors if sitting back talking to the locals is more to your liking.
Call ahead (416-2506) for a table or take out because chow disappears quickly. Open seven days a week from 9am to closing.
