Press Release
April 30, 2005
Looking for a reason to justify a vacation this fall? Sea & Learn on
Saba is an annual event which takes place the entire month of October.
2005 marks the third year of this award winning program and promises to
be the best yet.
Be part of an octopus camouflage monitoring program, determine whether
a seahorse is pregnant, band chicks in the world's only ongoing
Tropicbird research project, or just enjoy some fabulous photography
while you learn something. Every day and every night a variety of
nature experts in fields ranging from sharks and turtles to tropicbirds
and orchids, provide multimedia presentations and 'hands on' field work
in a casual and fun learning environment. All events are free and open
to locals and visitors alike.
Sea & Learn on Saba is a non-profit foundation that brings together the
local community, diverse nature experts and visitors to understand the
value of nature, both worldwide and locally on Saba. It's fun; it's
free and it's for everyone! For more information, email
info@seaandlearn.org. Monitor the www.seaandlearn.org website for
specific schedules of the various events.
