Chulani Levenstone from Saba was the first person awarded the new award "The Gold Record Award" for outstanding achievement while entertaining and performing at Scout's Place Hotel, Bar & Restaurant.
Duirng Saba's famous and very popular "Sabaoke night" held weekly on Fridays at Scout's Place, the management of the company (Barbara and Wolfgang) surprised Chulani with the award, a nicely framed "gold cd" and a cd with his very own music. An enthusiastic crowd of locals, tourists, divers and dive instructors cheered while Chulani gave again an outstanding performance and made everybody's night a memeorable one.
Chulani was also the winner of the first "Saba Idol" crown in 2004".
Thank you Chulani from all management and staff and all your friends on Saba. We all hope to enjoy more of your great singing!
We look forward to seeing who will be the winner of the award next year!
