About the Trail
The Mount Scenery trail begins just outside the village of Windwardside and leads to the summit of Mount Scenery, which, at 887 meters tall, is the highest point in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The trail features 1,015 stone steps and winds through lush rainforest, offering hikers the chance to observe diverse flora and fauna.
At the summit, you'll be rewarded with three stunning viewpoints overlooking the island.
Practical Information
• Due to the nature of the environment, sections of the trail can become muddy and slippery, so sturdy hiking shoes and a walking stick are highly recommended.
• The roundtrip hike typically takes about 2.5 hours.
